My husband and I are animal-lovers, so our dream vacation had always been a camera safari to Africa’s Serengeti Plains – the most marvelous place on earth to see magnificent game animals.
In July of 2013 we took our “bucket-list” trip and that’s when we got to know Jerry. In fact, by the end of the trip we were close friends!
In our opinion, the finding and spotting of animals while on safari depends almost entirely upon your guide. Jerry was our guide, and I do believe he has super-human eyesight! He knew where to find the animals and how to approach them with respect so that they were not frightened. And we got fantastic pictures. Sometimes I felt like I was holding my breath while in the presence of these creatures because they are so beautiful and so precious to our earth.
