Jerremia Mbwambo, Director of IJUE AFRICA SAFARIS, has built his company on a dream. “IJUE” means “KNOW” in the Swahili language.
It’s time that you KNOW.
Jerry always knew that there was a better way to go on safari!
Born and raised in Tanzania, Jerry began the hard work of “dreaming” as a professional porter on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, working under difficult conditions that hampered the ability of guides and porters to provide the best possible experience for travelers.
Jerry knew there had to be a better way. And so the dream of providing that better way took root. But a dream just dies without education, experience, and just plain hard work!
Jerry attended college-level courses in Kilimanjaro in the fields of wildlife management, tourism, and lodging. Equipped with both knowledge and experience, Jerry was hired by one of the best safari companies in the world, working for the next 6 years as a tour safari guide.
A promotion to safari planner and director followed. And as Jerry continued working for numerous safari companies, there came a time when he just KNEW!
